Cisco and SAP have announced that they will link two of their platforms to deliver better cloud integration and management between systems. Cisco will put its Container Platform beside the Data Hub from SAP, enabling bigger datasets to be more effectively analysed when they are stored in public clouds. It is likely the announcement will concern information stored in assets such as Amazon Web Services, Google, and Microsoft.
Multi-national technology giant Cisco Systems has announced that it is selling Cisco Data Virtualisation to Tibco. The unit was previously called Composite Software before Cisco bought it four years ago.
According to Tibco, it plans to integrate the heart of the Cisco Information system and “related consulting and support services” into its current range of analytics, next to the existing Connected Intelligence Platform and the Tibco Spotfire analytics.
