Dynamics 365 CRM – Email Templates now in Unified Interface

Wave 2 2020 updates the classic email template designer into the Unified Interface adding full rich text editing so that it lines up with the regular email editor functionality.  You can also now create templates from an email.

If you are not using them presently then email templates are boilerplate emails that can be inserted into an email you are drafting both speeding up email creation and setting consistency throughout your organisation.  The temple can also contain fields from the CRM record, so you do not have to rekey them.  If you need to slightly tailor the email before or after the template has been inserted that can be done too.

How do I get these email templates?

If you are on Dynamics 365 CRM in the cloud you will get these changes when Wave 2 2020 is applied to your system.
