Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement is a great tool for managing statuses and progress of your Customer, Opportunity, Case, Jobs, etc. Why not use visual aids to quickly spot a problem?

How does it work?

You can, in any free text field, enter an emoji. On a Windows PC, hold down the Windows key

and the semi-colon (;). Select the emoji you want into your text field 😊.

GCC has successfully implemented solutions where this emoji concept is used to indicate RAG status on a record. This can either be set by the user or automatically set by your predefined rules. For instance, at a glance, you can see all customer who are in the red.

Another example is setting the progress of a record to aid the ‘quick glance’ approach. Here is an example of statuses as applied to Cases.
