Have you thought about wishing your customers a Merry Christmas? 

You can use Report Designer to add a festive message to any of your layouts, such as invoices and statements.

If you email your invoices and statements, why not add an additional document to the email?  This could be your Christmas card from the company, the latest news or price lists.

How do I add a festive message to my layout?

Add a festive message:

Follow the steps below to add your festive message:

1. Select the relevant layout you’d like to change

2. Click Edit and this will open Report Designer.

3. On the menu bar click Report, then click Report Properties.

4. Enter a new report name and description, then click OK.

5. On the menu bar click Toolbox, then click Add Text.

6. Click once where you want the text to appear.

7. Enter the text you want, then click a blank area.

8. If required, click and drag to move or resize the text box.

9. On the menu bar click File, click Save As.

10. Enter a new file name then click Save.

11. On the menu bar click File, then click Exit.

12. Preview your changes using the new layout you’ve saved.

Add a festive image:

Follow the steps below to add your festive image:

1. Select the report or layout you want to amend, then click Edit.

2. On the menu bar across the top, click Toolbox, then click Add Image / Logo.

3. Click where you want the image to appear.

4. Click Browse my PC or network for an image, click OK.

5. Browse to and click your image file, then click Open.

NOTE: The supported image file types are shown in the Files of type drop-down

6. If required, click and drag to resize or move the image.

7. On the menu bar click File, then click Save As.

8. Enter a new file name then click Save.

9. On the menu bar click File, then finally click Exit.
