How to manage the timeline in Dynamics CRM – Bookmarking your search


Managing your Timeline in Dynamics CRM can help reduce the amount of time spent trying to find what you need.

With our ‘Managing your Timeline in Dynamics CRM’ blogs, we hope to take away that wasted time!

Our first blog showed you how to pin items to the top of your Timeline (spending less time searching for specific items that you look at regularly)!.

This second blog is useful if you find that you search a specific list every time. Why not Bookmark your search to make accessing these searches more accessible?

How to search on the timeline

Clicking on the funnel will open up a range of search options – type, status, date, etc.

After search options have been selected the system will apply this search for you.

How to bookmark on the timeline

After applying your filter, click on the Bookmark icon. This will allow you to save your search criteria under a named bookmark.

You can have several Bookmarks which will be available to use on all timelines on all records.
