Microsoft 365 – New Microsoft Word Features

Summary of the new Microsoft Word features

Some new Microsoft Word features have been added to enhance usability.

Suggested Spelling and grammar

Previously, when you got the red & blue wiggly lines under the spelling and grammar suggestions then you right mouse clicked to see the suggestions, the new function just allows a simple click onto the word to then see and implement the suggestion.

Save shapes as pictures

For those times when you’ve used the insert shapes tool in Word, have crafted the shadows, 3d effects etc and have a design that you want to save so you can use it again.  Well now you can, just right mouse click the image and use “Save as Picture”, that way you can then create a library of images that you can utilise in other documents.

Translate

Using this function, you can translate from one language to another words, sentences or entire documents.  The below video runs for 2 minutes and shows what can be done.
