A Microsoft Dynamics 365 new feature coming in Dynamics CRM 2022 Release Wave 1 that we’re particularly keen to get our hands on is the new “Modern Advanced Find”.

How does the Microsoft Dynamics 365 new feature work?

If there are CRM Views that you just don’t use anymore and are cluttering up your interface, it will be possible to hide them with this new feature:

Hiding a View will only hide it for yourself and not other users. The new experience will also mean that you have a choice on the order that Views are displayed with the option to present Personal Views first, System Views first or all together sorted alphabetically:

The way that you add columns or filters to a View is also changing, with no more pop out windows making the experience so much more seamless:

How do I get this?

“Modern Advanced Find” is currently available in Sandbox environments only and needs to be enabled per environment from Settings->Features, though it should be generally available for all customers in April 2022. More details can be found here.
