GCC has developed a range of services designed to enhance the core support services within the GCC portfolio of support contracts
Some clients have requested additional and / or extended services to support the specifics of how their business operates and over the years GCC has developed various enhanced services. Enhancements below are only available to clients with an existing GCC support contract
Standard enhancements include
Enhanced response SLA – Available for Networks & Servers contracts and Desktops & Devices contracts to speed up the response, Includes special access code for helpdesk queue jump.
Out of Hours support service. This service is available to support components usually covered under the GCC Networks & Server contract and / or the GCC Desktops & Devices. This service provides a helpdesk service with up to 24/7 support for the defined components.
On-site support – Enhanced Warranties for hardware for most mainstream manufacturers, from Next Business Day on site to a 2 hour pan-European laptop replacement service
On-site support – Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) pre-booked regular site visits at competitive rates to resolve all those niggly issues that never seen to get done. Also provides an on-site presence of IT staff for employees and ad-hoc help, support and training.
On-site support – Emergency callout, rapid response service that can get to any site in the UK mainland in 4 hours to resolve pressing issues
Security Plus Pack – Single sign-on solution that allows a group of staff members to use their standard network login to access defined company services such as the company Twitter account, Amazon and other procurement services, company Facebook, LinkedIn and Website content management systems
Security Plus Pack – Two factor authentication for key cloud services such as Office 365, employees use something they own and something they know. For example a password as usual but also they will be sent a text message or call to verify identity
Security Plus Pack – Document rights management – safely share documents, track where they go, control whether they can be copied, printed, forwarded to a third party and make the document self-destruct after n days.
Cloud data Backup service – Back up any data on any server, PC or laptop. Great security for important laptops that have a habit of being stolen or dropped, back up everything on the desktop and defined folders.
Periodic Disaster Recovery (DR) testing – Great that you have DR but has it been tested. Everything from a simple file restore from backed up data to a full remote site failover test to ensure that if it ever happens you’re properly prepared.
Enhanced support options apply to both on premise components and cloud components
