Summary

Individual G/L transactions can now be marked as reviewed/reconciled per G/L account, allowing for more control when carrying out period end routines.

If there is an issue with a G/L balance, you can then narrow down the investigation to include only non-reviewed transactions.

How do I do this?

Enabling this feature is controlled inside each G/L account.

To review transactions, simply click on the G/L Review Entries function for the selected G/L Account, from the Chart of Account list.

Select the transactions that are OK to be reconciled, and use the Set selected as reviewed function.

NOTE: You can undo any incorrect reviewed entry.

TIP: There is additional functionality to allow all existing transactions prior to a date to be marked as reviewed. This is useful after initial data migration, or where your current system and transactions are already reconciled, and you need to mark them all in bulk rather than doing individually.
